What's the latest interest rate hubub?
Mortgage rates rose for the fourth consecutive week, to the highest level in nearly four years, Freddie Mac said today. This is the highest since the week of July 12, 2002.
The AP characterized Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke as "keeping his options open" today indicating that after one more interest rate increase the central bank may take a break — perhaps only temporarily — from a rate-raising campaign aimed at keeping inflation at bay.
