Commercial real estate investors were the big winners last year.
In a recent study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Center for Real Estate investors earned an unprecedented 34 percent on their dollars. The performance of real estate surpassed the stock market worldwide as well as government and corporate bonds.
